I recently had the privilege of interviewing Vanessa Fox O’Loughlin on the TCFL podcast. Vanessa, who writes under the pseudonym of Sam Blake was also busy planning a new three-day long weekend crime writing festival, Murder One in Dublin, Ireland, one of the first UNESCO Cities of Literature. The festival features readings and interviews with Irish and international authors, panel events, and a free speaker’s corner where attendees can listen to readings from some of Ireland’s newest crime writers. Murder One caters for a wide range of genres including thrillers and spy fiction, police procedural and the supernatural.
And if you’re interested in the world of forensics, International bestseller Lynda La Plante will also bring festival attendees a unique free workshop. This interactive event is hosted by Think Forensic whose experts include CSI’s, forensic scientists, and senior investigating officers.
